~LECTION.
WHEREAS, it aprears that notice of said election was duly and
legally given, that voting orecincts were oronerly established,
that election officers were apoointed and election supplies furnished,
and that in all res.oects said election was held and conducted and
the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the returns
thereof, made, determined, and declared in time, form and manner
as required by the general laws of the State providing fo~ and
regulating Munici_oal ~'lections in cities of the fi~th and sixth
class;
AND WHEREAS, the City CoQncil of the said City of Ukiah met at the
Council Chambers thereof on Tuesday, the ~.5~h day of April, 1952,
to canvass the returns of said election a:~,~, install the newly
elected officers;
AND HEREAS, the City Council finds as a result of the said canvass,

RESOLVED, therefore that at ~he said General Municioal Election
held in the City of Ukiah, April 8, 1952, the following Oersons
were eledted to the following offices resoectively:
Henry G. Mercer was elected a member of the City Council for the
full term of four years from and after Tuesday, Anril 8, 1952, and
until his successor ~s elected and qualified.
Herman Runkel was elected a member of the City Council for the
full term of four years from and after Tuesday, A~ril 8, 1952, and
until his successor is elected and qualified.
Leonard R. Nix was elected a member of the City Council for the
full term of four years from and after Tuesday, A~ril 8, 1952, and
until his successor is elected and qualified.
Alice Butler Phillips was elected City Treasurer for the full term
of four years from and after Tuesday, Aoril 8, 1992, and until her~~
successor is elected and qualified.
S. E. Mitchell was elected City Clerk for the full term of four
years frcm and after Tuesday, AOri! 8, 1952, and until his successor
is elected and qualified.
RESOLVED, further that the following Qronosition was adopted at sa~
election: "Shall Ordinance No. 452, an Ordinance establishing and
limiting the compensation of members of the City Council of the City
of Ukiah for attendanme at council meetings be adonted?"
