HomeMy WebLinkAbout59-07RESOLUTION NO. 59-~ WHEREAS Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code provides for the cancellation of tax liens after the property has been acquired by the State, County, City, School District or any o~her political subdivision of the State of California, and WHEREAS, the following described property was owned by the City of Ukiah, a Municipal Corporation of the State of California during the entire fiscal year 1954-1955, having been acquired by said City of Uktah on June 18, 195[~, and disposed of on July 6, 1955 which said property is described as follows, to wit: COMMENCING at a city monument at the intersection of the center lines of School Street and Church Street in the City of Ukiah; thence following the center line of Church Street westerly a distance of ~0.01 feet thence turning to the left at an angle of 88 501 a distance of 20.01 feet to and for the point of beginning; thence from said point of beginning turning tot he right at an angle of 88° 505 a distance of 20~.35 feet; thence turning to the left at an angle of 89° 34' a distance of 99.60 feet; thence turning to the left at an angle of 90° 26' 14" a distance of 203.08 feetl thence turning to the left at an angle of 88u 49' 46" a distance of 99.60 feet to the true point of beginning. Being a portion of Block 20, City of Ukiah. NOW THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby petition the Honorable Board of Supervisors of the County of Mendocino, State of California, to order the Mendocino County Auditor to cancel the unpaid taxes on said property for the said f~scal year 195h-55 as evidenced by sales No. 752, ?53 and ?54 as shown on the Delinquent Assessment Roll for the year · PASSED Ai~D ADOPTED THIS 16 day of July ~__,1958 by the following vote: AYES: Mayor Roy WaMner Councilmen Runkel, ~.~ , - ' ... -, ~anker Buxton,Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Deputy City' 'Clerk
