RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING TERRITORY OF
BALDWIN ANNEXATION FROM THE UKIAH
VALLEY FIRE P!qOTECTION DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, by reason of annexation to the City of Ukiah of the
territory known as the Baldwin Annexation it is no longer
necessary that the area within said Baldwin .Annexation be included
within the Ukiah Valley Fire Protection District; and,
WHEREAS, Section 14~13 of the Health & Safety Code of the
State of California provides that whenever a portion of a district
is included within a city by reason of incorporation, annexation,
or otherwise, such portion may be withdrawn from the district by
resolution of the legislative body of the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does
hereby
15 RESOLVE:
18 That it hereby finds that the territory described as the
17 Baldwin Annexation has been annexed to and is now a part of the
18 City of Ukiah, and it hereby declares that the territory described
19 as the Baldwin Annexation, be, and the same is hereby, withdrawn
20 from the Ukiah Valley Fire Protection District. The area so
21 withdrawn is more specifically described as follows:

BALDWIN ANNEXATION
TO THE
CITY OF UKIAH, MENDOCINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
COMMENCING at a point on the west line of the Redwood
Highway and at the SOLItheast corner of the premises described
in deed of record in Book 173 of deeds, at page 337,
Mendocino County Records, thence Westerly along the southerly
line of the premises described in said deed as aforesaid
209 feet, 9 inches; thence northerly and parallel with the
westerly line of said Redwood Highway 208 feet, 9 inches;
thence easterly and parallel with the first line and course
hereinabove described 208 feet, 9 inches, to the westerly
line of the Redwood Highway; thence southerly along the
westerly line of said Redwood Highway, 205 feet, 9 inches, to
the point of beginning, and containing one acre more or less.
The Clerk is hereby directed to file copies oF this resolut-
'on with the State Board of Equalization, the governing body of

the Ukiah Valley Fire Protection District, the County Clerk of
Mendocino County, and the County Assessor of Mendocino County,
and to file with the State Board of Equalization and the County
Assessor of Mendocino County the statement and map required by
Section 54901 of the Government Code of California.
