HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-19 RESOLUTION NO. 64-19 RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO ALFRED N ICOLAISEN An application for variance having been duly presented and filed, the Planning Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public hearing, taken evidence, and made and filed its recommendations, and the City Council of the City of Ukiah, having duly held a public hearing, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission, and taken and considered evidence; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony with the general purpose of Ordinance No. 429 of the City ofUkiah and meets the conditions of Sec. 4.41 (a) thereof; and The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby qrant Variance No.64-4 to ALFRED NICOLAISEN, 343 Jones Street, Okiah to permit .. operation of dental laboratory ~_~dx~x¢~dM¢~..x. . on said premises, all subject to the following conditions: 1) The variance hereby granted shall be confined to the area designated as "Dental Lab" on the plot plan accompanying the application and shall not be construed as extending to the balance of the property. 2) Applicant shall construct sidewalk along the entire Jones Street and Dora Street frontages of the property at 343 Jones St. App- licant shall also construct curb and gutter where necessary and driveway into paved parking area shown on plot plan. 3) All construction shall conform to plot plan accompanying application. 4) The use permitted by this variance shall be put into effect within one year from the date of granting this variance. If such use shall cease for any period of six (6) consecutive months then this variance shall automatically terminate. If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required approval is not obtained, then this variance shall be null and void, otherwise to continue in full force and effect indefinitely and to run with the land. This variance is granted only for the specific purposes set forth above, and shall not be construed as eliminating or modifying any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific purposes.
