HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-20 RESOLUTION NO. 6/+-20 RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO WILLIAM M. VEST An application for variance having been duly presented and filed, the Planning Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public hearing, taken evidence, and made and filed its recommendations, and the City Council of the City of Ukiah, having duly held a public hearing, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission, and taken and considered evidence; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE~. The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony with the general purpose of'Ordinance No. 429 of the City of Ukiah and meets the conditions of Sec. 4.41 (a) thereof; and ]he City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby grant Variance No. 6b~-5 to WILLIAM M. VEST to permit reduction of required 20 foot set-back to a minimum of 12 feet Ji~lx~x~l~ta~ along portion of Mill St. frontage of property located at 711 S. Dora S'treet ~x~l<~lxt~l~m~s¥ a11 subject to the following conditions: l) The reduction of the required set-back shall apply only to that portion of the Mill Street frontage adjacent to the proposed building as shown on the plot plan accompanying the application. Construction of such building shall conform to such plot plan. 2) That this variance shall automatically terminate unless the use is put into effect by construction within one year from the date hereof of the building designated as "proposed building" on the plot plan. If such use shall cease for any period of six (6) consecutive months then this variance shall automatically terminate. If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required approval is not obtained, then this variance shall be null and void, otherwise to continue in full force and effect indefinitely and to run with the land. This variance is granted only for the specific purposes set forth above, and shall not be construed as eliminating or modifying any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific purposes.
