Z8 Z9 2O 25 5O RESOLUTION NO. 64-37 RESOLUI'ION REQUESTING INSTALLATION OF CONDUIT, PULL BOXES AND BASES FOR STANDARDS IN CONNECTION WI TH FREEWAY OVERCROSSING PROJECT AT PERKINS STREET AND GOBBI STREET° WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah and the County of Mendocino have jointly agreed to share a portion of the expense of installa- tion of lighting facilities in conjunction with the construction of the new freeway at its intersection with Gobbi Street and at its intersection with Perkins Street; and, WHEREAS, Ukiah, for itself and as agent 'for the convey to the Division of Highways of its understandings with regards to the faci]ities; it is necessary and appropriate that the City of County of Mendocino, the State of California installation of such NOW, THEREFORE, hereby RESOLVE: the City Council of the City of Ukiah does l) That lighting facilities at the freeway intersections with Gobbi Street and Perkins Street as shown on those certain sketches entitled "Perkins-Cloverleaf Street Lighting" dated 2-21-64 and "Gobbi Cloverleaf Street Lighting,',dated 2-24-64 respectively, copies of which have been heretofore referred to the Division of Highways, are essential to the proper development of the 'Freeway project in its to the adjacent County and City areas. 2) That in order to accommodate such of Highways of the State of California to cause to be installed in the necessary conduit:, pull sketches locations boxes and relationship facilities, the Division is hereby requested designated on such bases for standards. lO 11 12 15 15 16 IT 18 19 2O 25 28 29 $0 51 3) City, on behalf of itself and as agent for the County of Mendocino, agrees to pay to State the cost of such conduit, pull boxes and bases for standards which are located outside oi= the freeway overcrossing structures.~ in the approximate amount of $3,000.00; provided that State assumes the cost of providing such conduit, pull boxes and bases for standards wi thin such structures. /~) The Director of Finance is authorized and directed to issue to State a purchase order of City for the amount of $3,000.00 to carry out the obligation of City, for itself and as agent of County, in performance of this phase of such project.
