WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Ukiah is by law designated as a Director of the Board of the Ukiah Valley Sanitation District; and WHEREAS, Section 4730 of the Health and Safety Code requires that each city within a sanitation district appoint one of the members of its governing board as an alternate director to act in place of the Mayor in his absence~ NOW, THEREFORE~ the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: That Councilman '~ALi.~i~ "[. ~[~'~ i s hereby appointed as an Alternate Director of the Board of Di rectors of the Ukiah Valley Sanitation District to act as a member of said Board on behalf of the City of Ukiah in the absence of the Mayor of the City of Ukiah pursuant to Section 4730 of the Heal th and Safety Code~ Passed and adopted this 6th day of May, 1964.
