RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO
A. P. MA THEWS
An application for variance having been duly presented and filed,
the Planning Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public
hearing, taken evidence, and made and filed its recommendations, and
the City Council of the City of Ukiah, having duly held a public hearing,
considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission, and taken
and considered evidence;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby
RESOLVE:
The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony
with the general purpose of Ordinance No. 429 of the City of Ukiah and
meets the conditions of Sec. 4.41 (a) thereof; and

The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby grant Variance
64-14 to A.P. Ma thews
to permit construction of a deer-proof fence
ai#~lXitletM~Ket~l~:ltl on property located at 906 North Oak Street
on said premises, all subject to the following conditions:
l) Exclusive of the barbed wi re extension at the top, the
height of said fence shall be eight (8) feet along the
west side of the property and six (6) feet along the north
and east sides of the property. In all other respects
constructi on and location shall conform to the application
and plot plan submitted by applicant.
2) Construction hereby permitted shall be completed within
one year from the date of gnranting of this variance.
If the use permitted herei shall cease for any period, of
six (6) consecutive months this variance shall automatically
te rmi nate.
If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required
approval is not obtained, then this variance shall be null and void,
otherwise to continue in full force and effect indefinitely and to run
with the land. This variance is granted only for the specific purposes
set forth above, and shall not be construed as eliminating or modifying
any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific
purposes.
