That we are opposed to any plan which would divide the great State of California, and upon that ground we are opposed to the present Senate Reapportionment plan. 2. That every forward-looking citizen of from north or south, urban or rural, be urged work for the good of all within the framework of the time-tested manner of legislative representation as it now exists. That all the people of California, whether they live on a farm or in a city, in the north, south or central areas, by the shores of the Pacific or at the foot of the Sierra, forever 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 25 24 25 26 remember that we are all citizens of California, and that what is good for California is good for all of us, and what is bad for California will ultimately hurt each of us. The time has come for Californians to stop asking "How will this legislation help me?" and to start asking, · '~How will this legislation affect us"? BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution be sent to each member of the California Legislature and to all other interested parties.
