RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT PROJECT OF
MOVl NG EX I ST I NG OFF I CE BUI LDI NG CAN
BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY
DAY LABOR OR ON THE OPEN MARKET, AND
AUTHOR I ZING THE SAME.

WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah has duly called for, received and
considered bids for the project of moving an existing office
building from Calpella, California to a new location at the
Ukiah Municipal Airport, Ukiah, Ca!ifornia, and has duly
rejected all bids received for the performance of such project;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does
hereby RESOLVE:

Pursuant to Section 37905 of the Government Code of
California the City Council hereby declares that such project
can be performed more economically by day labor, or the materials
or supplies furnished at a lower price in the open market, and
therefore directs that the project be done in the manner stated
without further complying with Chapter 6, Division 3, Title 4
of the Government Code or other bid requirements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution has been passed
and adopted by at least a four-fifths (4/5ths) vote of the
members of the City Council of the City of Ukiah, and shall so
reflect upon the face of this resolution.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 31st day of October, 1962, by the follow-
ing vote:
AYES: Councilmen Buxton, Banker, Smalley and Wagner,
NOES: Councilman Runkelo
