RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO
Mr. & Mrs. G. Wesley Caldwell
An application for variance having been duly presented and filed,
the Planning Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public
hearing, taken evidence, and made and filed its recommendations, and
the City Council of the City of Ukiah, having duly held a public hearing,
considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission, and taken
and considered evidence;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby
RESOLVE:
The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony
with the general purpose of Ordinance No. 429 of the City of Ukiah and
meets the conditions of Sec. 4.4] (a) thereof; and
The City Council of theGC, i ~Ye of Ukiah does hereby grant Variance
No...63-17 to Mr. & Mrs. sle¥ Caldwell, 10~0 Maple Street
to permit ... encroachment of carport roof
into sideyard
on said premises, all subject to the following conditions:
1. Roof supports shall be located a minimum of fourteen (14') feet from
side property line.
2. Roof overhang shall be located minimum of ten (10') feet from side
property line.

Location and construction shall conform to plot plan and accompany-
ing plans submitted with application.

Construction contemplated shall be completed within one year of
granting this variance. If permitted use shall cease for any period
of six (6) consecutive months this variance shall automatically
terminate.
If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required
approval is not obtained, then this variance shall be null and void,
otherwise to continue in full force and effect indefinitely and to run
with the land. This variance is granted only for the specific purposes
set forth above, and shal! not be construed as eliminating or modifying
any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific
purposes·
