A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND CONTRACT EXECUTION
FOR FUNDING FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION FOR THE
STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY
AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE
PURPOSES OF THIS GRANT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City Of Ukiah as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and hereby approves application for State
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG Program) for $500,000 from the
Enterprise Fund Component:

General Administration $ 37,500
Activity Delivery $ 46,250
Business Assistance $342,950
Microenterprise $ 73,300
WHEREAS, if the grant application is approved, the City will provide local leverage for
the Business Assistance Program in the following form:
$50,000 from the City Of Ukiah Redevelopment Agency
$50,000 in In-Kind staff services and expertise
WHEREAS, the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to act on the City's
behalf in all matters pertaining to this application; and
WHEREAS, if the application is approved, the City Manager is authorized to enter into
and sign the grant agreement and any amendments thereto with the State of California
for the purposes of this grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ukiah
held on September 6, 2000 by the following vote:
