FURTHER DISCUSSION RE.
ANTON STADIUM CONCESSION
For the benefit of the new members of the Council, the City
Manager reviewed the di scussion held at the last meeting re-
garding the request of the High School that students be permitted
to operate the concession at Anton Stadium during all high school
football games. The Council was informed that me present op-
erators have indicated that upon expiration of the present
contract they wish to continue on the same basis as in the past
and are definitely not interested in the balance of the events
if the football games are eliminated.
Mr. Wi l liam Murphy and Mr. William Tully were present on behalf
of the High School and explained their request is based on an
effort to support all student activities through the efforts of
the students themselves. Although the concession was offered
to the school in the past, only this year have the student ac-
tivities been arranged to fit this in. They were specific in
stating that their interest is confined solely to concession
operation during high school football games.
