RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH
APPROVING QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS LIST
FOR 2002 CALENDAR YEAR
WHEREAS, under Ukiah City Code (UCC) sections 1541-1542, the City Clerk must
request licensed contractors who are qualified to perform public work under contract with
the City of Ukiah to submit their names, addresses, phone numbers, type of work in which
they are interested, and the contractor's classification and license number; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is required to adopt a list of qualified contractors,
identified according to categories of work; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has published the notice as required in UCC Section
1541 and compiled a list of qualified contractors based on information submitted in
response to said notice and including all contractors who have submitted valid bids to the
City during the preceding calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the list as compiled complies
with the requirements of the City Code and Public Contracts Code Section 22032(b) and
shall constitute the City of Ukiah's Contractors List for use in providing notice under the
informal bidding procedure authorized in UCC Section 1543.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the list attached to this resolution as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference is adopted as the Contractors List for the
City of Ukiah for the calendar year 2002.
