filed as a class action on behalf of public libraries and other

that various publishers of 'llibrary editionsI, of children's books
conspired to fix the prices of these books at artificially high

REQUEST FOR OUTSIDE WATER
SERVICE - 725 ORR STREET
The City Manager reviewed the request by J. B. Mitchell for out-
side water service to his house trailer located at 725 Orr Street
which was delayed one week. Council was of the opinion that
subject property was a logical part of annexation to the City and
inquired if, after annexation, said property owner would be per-
mitted the trailer use based on our present ordinance. The City
Attorney advised that this was not permitted under the present
ordinance but said ordinance could be amended. Council also dis-
cussed the problem of annexation of Orr Street and possible
expense in the reconstruction of the dilapidated bridge over Orr
Creek. The City Attorney and the City Engineer were requested
to further explore the questions of an agreement with the owner to
annex as a condition of water service and a possible program with
the County to obtain improvement on the bridge prior to annexing
the street to the City. Council postponed action on the requested
water service until the next meeting.
