HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-20 RESOLUTION NO. 2000-20 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ZONE ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF NORTH STATE STREET FROM 290 FEET SOUTHERLY OF LOW GAP ROAD/ BRUSH STREET TO 255 FEET NORTHERLY OF LOW GAP ROAD/BRUSH STREET WHEREAS, the City Council may by resolution designate portions of streets upon which the standing, parking, or stopping of vehicles is prohibited or restricted pursuant to Article 11, Chapter 1, Division 8, of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineering Committee (Traffic Engineer) considered the request from City staff for the establishment of a No Parking zone on the east and west sides of North State Street from 290 feet southerly of Low Gap Road/Brush Street to 255 feet northerly of Low Gap Road/Brush Street, and WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineering Committee recommends the establishment of the requested No Parking zone. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ukiah City Council that a No Parking zone is hereby established along the east and west sides of North State Street from 290 feet southerly of Low Gap Road/Brush Street to 255 feet northerly of Low Gap Road/Brush Street. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of November, 1999, by the following roll call vote: Councilmembers Smith, Libby, Baldwin, Ashiku, and Mayor Mastin. AYES: NOES: None. ABSENT: None.
