CONTRACT FOR ADDITIONPL INFLOW

The contract amendment is considered to be necessary at this time
inasmuch as when the original studies were made a drought period
existed and it was difficul-L to measure the amount of leakage into the
sewer sI . from, ground wate - . The current year is a normal rainfall
year anti subject work could be done with more accuracy now. The
state and federal agencies have approved our proceeding with this
work under the grant program. The Director of Public Works stated
a specific contract amendment at an additional. cost of $1850 to
the Cit)- would be ready for Council consideration at the next meeting.

Need for priori-ties to-be set - Many problems confront the City.
To meet these problems and needs it was suggested Council meet
with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Merchants ,
and others interested on. a regular basis . It was determined said
meetings will be tree second Thursday of each month, for a luncheon
meeting.

City Attorney referred to the vacancy created on the Council
with the resignation of Ted Feibusch. He stated the County Clerk
has indicated that the election for the City cannot be consolidated
with the June primary. At this point, the City Attorney had not
researched the matter and requested Council put the matter on the
