Perkins Street. impacts on Perkins Street. Councilmembers felt development in other areas of City would also have impact on Perkins Street and felt adequate traffic mitigation measures could be in4)lemented after consideration of the recently completed 'Traffic Study. Councilman Myers urged inclusion of street improvement funds in the budget. - M/S: Brannon/Ilickey to uphold appeal and approve Site Development Permit No. 79-95 subject to the 19 special conditions as listed. in Planning I)irector memo dated July b, 1979. Colulcll directed staff to prepare statistics on amount of use, costs and benefits for presentation at the next meeting. CITY COUNCII, REPORTS CITY COUNCIL REPORTS Councilman IIickey Reported onro ress of well P g 1 being dui; at Geysers and noted the Council will be invited to inspect site in October, 1979. Noted recent toter of hydroelectric facilities at Grass Valley. Councilman Myers Reported on July 25 meeting with the Mendocino Transit Authority and presented written information of extended schedules, Councilman Brannon suggested these be mailed to City residents with utility billings. Councilman Simpson Presented solar energy pamphlets. Questioned use of Lake Mendocino watebi%. M/S: Simpson/Hickey to direct correspondence urging water be allowed to flow through Lake Mendocino and not be diverted to ensure adequate flow for hydro-electric use. Carried by unanimous vote. Councilman Brannon Reported on recent P success of Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund in which the City participates for both Workers Comp. and Liability. Questioned policy procedures for safety training of taxi drivers. Mayor Snyder . Requested informational packets delivered by taxi drivers be placed at the door if unable to present directly to the recipient. Asked if consideration of rental rates of Airport building will be considered by Airport Commission. Questioned interior improvements to only certain portions of Administration building at the Airport.
