DATE: June 3_. 1997 REPORT BUDGE i GOAL Sb ~ ~ lNG WORKSHOP: REVIEW OF 1996-97 ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND 1997-98 OBJECTIVES FOR VARIOUS CITY FUNCTIONS The various departments and divisions within the City's operations will be presenting the goals and objectives accomplished for the 1996-97 year, as well as the proposed goals and objectives for the 1997-98 year. Presenters will include Directors and Supervisors of the various divisions. These goals and objectives were discussed and formulated through a consensus building process with the employees of each department. Staff will be highlighting several of the important goals in each budget area, but will not be going over each separate item due to limited time constraints. If Council has particular questions about goals that are not discussed, please ask questions on any item at any time. It is estimated that the session will take approximately 2 to 2-1/2 hours. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Review the accomplishments and objectives as presented by the department heads. ALTERNATIVE COUNCIL POLICY OPTIONS: . .
