HomeMy WebLinkAbout83-16RESOLUTION NO. 83-16 RESOLUI'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENI)lVIENT 1982-B WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted public hearings on July 14, and the Housing Element, comprising the General Plan Amendment 1982-B were 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 2~ 24 26 27 28 considered and recommended for approval by the City Council, and WHERFAS, the City Council has held public hearings on August 18, August 27, and September 1, 1982 and found the Land Use Changes to be consistent with the goals, policies and objectives of the General Plan, and WHERF~S, the Housing Element has been referred to the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development for comments and will be acted on during General Plan Amendment 1982-C, and WHERK&S, on September 1, 1982 a Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for the proposed Land Use Changes in General Plan Amendment 1982-B was found adequate and complete. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Ukiah adopts General Plan Amendment 1982-B making the following changes to the General Plan Land Use Map: Bush and Low Gap Northeast: retained as Medium High Density Residential; Bush and Orr Creek: changed from Public to b~dium Low Density Residential; Dora-Bush/Stephenson-Gibson Creek; retained as b~dium Low Density Residential; Low Gap b~rtuary: changed from ?~dium Low Density Residential to Commercial; ~.~rshall Street: retained as Medium High Density Residential; Norton South: retained as High Density Residential and Commercial; Oak-School/Clay to Mill: retained as High Density Residential along Oak Street frontage and changed from High Density Residential to Commercial on the School Street frontage; State Street West: changed from ~bdium Low Density Residential to Commercial; ! 2 4 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 2~ 24 25 26 27 28 Waugh East/Gobbi to Cooper: retained as Medium High Residential; Waugh East/Cooper-~hrlene South: changed from Medium Low Residential to MediumHigh Residential; Waugh and Betty/Marlenc-Talmage: retained as Medium High Residential; Low Gap West: retained as Low Residential; Eunice Court: changed from Agriculture to Low Residential; Talmage/Sanford Ranch Road (Lucchesi): retained as Agriculture; Stipp Lane West: retained as Hillside; and Lovers Lane/Orr Springs Road: retained as Agriculture.
