RESOLLrI'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI1h~
OF UKIAIt COMMENDING MEMBERS OF THE URBAN
SEIWICES GOVERNMFJCFAL FUNCTION STUDY CITIZEN
ADVISORY COMMIITEE AND DISSOLVING TttE
COMMITTEE UPON COMPLETION OF ITS EFFORTS
~-~S, in November of 1978 the City of Ukiah commenced the Urban
Services/Goverm~ental Function Study to analyze and determine the optimum
urban service delivery and governmental responsibility system within the
Ukiah valley, and
WHERF~S, the Citizen Advisory Committee was established in December
1978 as a very integral and necessary component of the study to provide
continued review and input throughout the study's process, and
WHEP~d2AS, the Committee members diligently participated in discussion and
evaluation of the data, policies, objectives and alternatives proposed, and
WHEREAS, on June 28, 1979 the Committee made a final recommendation to
the City Council regarding this study,
NOW THEREFORE Bt'! IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Ukiah
does hereby commend and extend its appreciation to' Susie Clarke, Roy Curl,
Barbara Eversole, Glenn Gawel, Tom Hill, Jack'Kummert, George Parducci,Darwin
Richardson and Bill Townsend, members of the Citizen Advisory Committee
for their active involvement in the study and further dissolves the Committee
in light of it's completed task.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of JULY, 1979 by the following roll
call vote'
AYES' Councilman Hickey, Simpson, Brannon and Mayor Snyder
