RESOLUTION OF Tt-E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UKIA}-t ACCEFI'ING THE NEGOTIATED
EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUES FOR THE
ORR CREEK ANNEXATION (NO. 79-3)'
W}EREAS, the City Council of the City of Ukiah, by Resolution No. 80-9
ordered annexation of the territory known as Orr Creek, Annexation No. 79-3, and
WHERFAS, pursuant to Section 99, Part 0.5., Division 1 of the Revenue and
Taxation Code,(as added by Assembly Bill 8), a transfer of property tax revenue
is required for each annexation, and
W}~RF~S, such jurisdictional change cannot become effective until each
county and city negotiate and accept by resol'ution the negotiated exchange of
property tax revenues, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $50 in property tax revenues has been detemined
as the appropriate tax transfer by calculation of equivalent tax rates for
affected agencies within the territory to be annexed, through negotiations be-
tween City and County staffs, and
WHERFAS, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors by Resolution No.
79-283, accept $50 as the negotiated exchange of tax revenues for Orr Creek
Annexation, No. 79-3,
NOW TItEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
a) the City Council accepts $50 as the negiotated exchange of property
tax revenues for the Orr Creek Annexation, No. 79-3, and
b) the City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this resolu-
tion to the Executive Off]ce of the Mendocino County Local Agency Form-
ation Commission and the Administrative Office of the Mendocino County
Board of Supervisors.

call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Hickey, Myers, Simpson, Brannon, Mayor Snyder
