HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-79 1 3 4 5 6 7 and 9 ]! 16 RESOLUTION NO. 8]-7° RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ELECTRIC FACILTIIES IN THE TERRITORY KNOWN AS LEWIS LANE REORGANIZATION NO. 80-2 WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution No. 80-66, authorized the annexation of the Lewis Lane area to the City of Ukiah, and WHEREAS, the City owns and operates its own electric system, WHEREAS, the City policy is to service all customers within the City limits, and WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company has offered to transfer eight customers and associated facilities to the City for $7,179.00, and WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed these costs and recommends that the City Council accept Pacific Gas and Electric Company's proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: a) That the City Council orders that the Finance Director issue a check to Pacific Gas and Electric Company in the amount of $7,179.00, and b) That the Electric Department connect these facilities 21 to City service when final approval of the Public Utilities 22 Commission is obtained. 23 PASSED AND ADOPTED this ]7th day of 24 following roll call vote: June 1981 by the 2% AYES: Councilmembers I-lickey, Feibusch, Snyder, Riley, Myers 26 NOES: None 27 ABSENT: None ATTESTs: City Clerk MAYOR
