Adopt a Resolution Amending the Paid Leave Policy for Part-Time Employees. Recommended Action: Adopt a resolution to amend the the City's paid leave policy for part-time, year-round employees to allow for a tiered vacation accrual benefit, as approved in the 2018/2019 fiscal year budget and approve an implementation that includes providing current employees with a starting balance at 25%of the maximum accrual for the first tier(0-3 years ofservice)and 50%for the second and third tiers(4-8 and 9+).
