RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH REMOVING ON-STREET
PARKING AT TWO LOCATION OFF OF AIRPORT PARK BOULEVARD: END OF CUL-DE-SAC
BETWEEN WALMART AND FURNITURE DESIGN CENER; AND END OF CUL-DE-SAC
BETWEEN KEN FOWLER AUTO AND COSTCO
WHEREAS, the City Council may by resolution designate portions of streets upon which the
standing, parking, or stopping of vehicles is prohibited or restricted pursuant to Article 11, Chapter 1,
Division 8 of the Ukiah City Code; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineering Committee (Traffic Engineer) considered the request to
establish no parking zones at two locations off of Airport Park Boulevard: End of cul-de-sac between
Walmart and Furniture Design Center; and end of cul-de-sac between Ken Fowler and Costco at its
meeting on July 10, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer recommends the request to establish no parking zones at two
locations off of Airport Park Boulevard: End of cul-de-sac between Walmart and Furniture Design
Center; and end of cul-de-sac between Ken Fowler and Costco.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Ukiah does
establish no parking zones at two locations off of Airport Park Boulevard: End of cul-de-sac between
Walmart and Furniture Design Center; and end of cul-de-sac between Ken Fowler and Costco. The
City Engineer shall direct installation of signage and curb painting as necessary;
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 181h day of July 2018, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Brown, Scalmanini, Crane, Mulheren, and Mayor Doble
