RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UKIAH ADOPTING ADDENDUM TO THE MAY 7, 1979
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
WHEREAS, City representatives have met with the Operating
Engineers Local Union No. 3 as called for in the May 2, 1979
Memorandum of Understanding; and,
WHEREAS, an additional agreement has been reached; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Addendum to the
May 7, 1979 Memorandum of Understanding is hereby approved and
staff is directed to implement Sections 2 and 3 effective
December 8, 1980.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of December ,
1980, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Riley, Feibusch, Snyder, Myers, Hickey
NOES: None
ABSENT: None

TO
MAY 2, 1979 -
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
The parties to the MOU having met ~and conferred in good faith
have reached the following agreements regarding Section VI:
1. Ail pay-back shifts for the Fire Department Employees
shall be eliminated as of November 5, 1980.
2.Fire Department shift employees shall remain on duty
15 minutes beyo. nd the current shift conclusion for
the express~ pUrpose of briefing on-coming shift employees
to facilitate the orderly transition from ,one shift to
another.
3.Vacation-time accrual for Fire Department shift employees
shall be the same as the other City Employees.
In witness whereof, the parties hereto have set their hands by the persons
