School U~iah RESOLUTION NO. 82-68 2 3 4 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET (HOPE STREET BETWEEN STANDLEY STREET AND SMITH STREET) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ukiah has declared its intention to vacate the easterly lO.O0 feet of Hope Street between Standley Street and Smith Street, and WHEREAS, the required public hearing was held on Hay 19, 1982, following the proper posting and publishing of notice of hearing, and WHEREAS, as the result of said public hearing,the City Council of the City of Ukiah established that the easterly lO.O0 feet of said street in question is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does-'hereby RESOLVE' That it is in the public interest and benefit to vacate that certain aforementioned portion of Hope Street between Standley Street'and Smith Street for publiC'street purposes with the underlying land reverting to the adjacent · property owners, ex[epting therefrom and being subject to a public utility easement over, under, in, and along the entire area so vacated, to be retained ; " by.~the city of Ukiah. . NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: That it is in the public interest and benefit to vacate that certain aforementioned portion of Hope Street between Standley Street and Smith Street for public street purposes with the underlying land reverting to the adjacent property owners, excepting therefrom and being subject to a public utility easement over, under, in, and along the entire area so vacated, to be retained by the City of Ukiah.
