NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Ukiah City Council do hereby support a halt to inequality of rights under the law on account of sex. We call upon our unratified sister states to pass the ERA. We urge President Ronald Regan to advocate the passage of this Amendment to pursue their lives emancipated from restraints of sex-biases under the law of the land.
