RESOLUTION NO. 82-20
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UKIAH ACCEPTING THE NEGOTIATED EXCHANGE OF
PROPERTY TAX REVENUES FOR THE MUNSON-I~STINGS
REORGANIZATION (No. 81-6)
WHE~S, the City Council of the City of Ukiah, by Resolution No. 81-65
made application for annexation of the territory known as Munson-Hastings,
Reorganization No. 81-6, and
MtEP~S, pursuant to Section 99, Part 0.5, Division 1 of the Revenue and
Taxation Code, (as added by Assembly Bill 8), a transfer of property tax
revenue is required for each reorganization, and
I~4E~S, such jurisdictional change cannot become effective until each
county and city negotiate and accept by resolution the negotiated exchange of
property tax revenues, and
I~EREAS, calculation of equivalent tax rates for affected agencies within
the territory to be annexed indicates that the City should receive 12.33% of
the taxes generated within this annexation area, and
~FHERF3kS, the amount of $5,342 in property tax revenues has been determined
as the appropriate tax transfer through negotiations between City and County
staffs,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED;
a) The City Council accepts $5,342 as the negotiated exchange of property
tax revenues for the ~nson-Hastings Reorganization No. 81-6 for
fiscal year 1981-82, and
b) the City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this
resolution to the Executive Office of the Mendocino County Local

Mendocino County Board of Supervisors for action by the respective
agencies.
