RESOLUTION NO. 85-1
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UKIAH ESTABLISHING AN HISTORICAL/ARCHITECTURAL
PRESERVATION AD HOC SURVEY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah is considering an Historical. and Architectural.
Preservation Program, and
k~EREAS, the basis for such program is a survey of the historical and
architectural resources within our community, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah Planning Commission has recommended that a
committee with appropriate expertise complete the survey, and
WHEREAS, the Council has requested volunteers from the community with

exptertise or interest in architecture, history, or previous experience in
historical surveys.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
The City Council establishes the Historical and Architectural Preservation
Ad Hoc Survey (HAPAHS) Committee to complete, by June 1985, a survey of
historic and architectural resources within the community as prescribed by
the goal, objectives, tasks and schedule set forth in Exhibit A.
Barbara Boyer, Marilyn Dickens, Nanette Guzzi, Eunice Knutson, Cranvil!e
Pool, Maurine Pool, Judy Pruden, Alice Clare Swan and Kathleen Teach are
appointed to the HAPAHS Committee.
The Committee is charged with completing the tasks documented in
Exhibit A and after final report acceptance by the City Council shall
have no further requirements or responsibilities.
The Community Development Department is to provide staff assistance
to the Committee.
If the City of Ukiah is successful in receiving an Historic Preservation
Grant from the State of California, any professional consultants

secured through that Grant shall assist this Committee in their
endeavors to complete the survey.
