HomeMy WebLinkAbout86-45 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 1:2 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 2:2 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 86-45 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH DESIGNATING THE NEW CIVIC CENTER STRUCTURE HISTORICALLY AND ARCHITECTURALLY SIGNIFICANT WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah has taken every available opportunity to preserve the historic, architectural and cultural integrity of the old Yokayo School building in making it the new Civic Center; and WHEREAS, the new Civic Center structure is included in the City of Ukiah's Architectural and Historical Resourses Inventory Report completed in December 1985; and WHEREAS, designation of the building as historically and architecturally significant is appropriate and will allow utilization of the State of California Historic Building Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the new Civic Center structure is designated historically and architecturally significant and important to the City and community of Ukiah. vote: PASSED AND ADOPTED the 7th day of May, 1986, by the following roll call AYES: Councilmember Henderson, Kier, Hickey, Kelley, and Mayor Myers NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: Mayor
