HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-31 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27~ 28 RESOLUTION NO. 87-31 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH DECLARING PARCELS OF LAND AND IMPROVEMENTS ON CITY HALL, 203 SOUTH SCHOOL STREET; FIRE STATION NO. 1, 369 SOUTH SCHOOL STREET; AND POLICE STATION, 280 EAST STANDLEY STREET EXCESS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING SALE AND DISPOSAL OF EXCESS PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah owns property referred to as City Hall, located on Church and School Streets; Fire Station No. 1, located on the corner of School and Clay Streets; and Police Station, located on the corners of Standley, Mason and Smith Streets, will be vacated upon completion of the Ukiah Civic Center, and WHEREAS, said properties will not be required for City purposes, now or in the future once the Civic Center is occupied, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Exhibits "A", "B" and "C" (attached) depicting said excess properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parcels, including improvements, as shown upon said Exhibits "A", "B" and "C" are declared excess property and the City Manager is directed to proceed with the disposal of said excess property as allowed by law.
