HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-23RESOLUTION NO. 88-23 ,., RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ORDERING THE BUSH STREET NORTH REORGANIZATION 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 WHEREAS, the Mendocino County Local Agency Formation Commission on October 5, 1987, approved the "Bush Street North Reorganization" by Resolution No. 87-7; and WHEREAS, said Commission designated the City of Ukiah City Council to be the conducting authority for subsequent proceedings; and WHEREAS, the subject property, Mendocino County Assessor Parcel Number 170-220-07, was prezoned from Mendocino County "R-3" to City of Ukiah "R-3", Multiple Residential, by Ordinance Number 844; and WHEREAS, the property is "uninhabited" and owned by the City of Ukiah; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines (Section 15319) annexation of existing facilities is categorically exempt from environmental evaluation, Categorical Exemption Class 19. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Bush Street North as depicted on attached Exhibits "A" (map) and "B" (legal description) is ordered, with subject property annexed to the City of Ukiah and detached from the Ukiah Valley Fire Protection District. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk pursuant to Government Code Section 56450 is directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution, the applicable State Board of Equalization filing fees, and signed mylar of the Annexation Map and original legal description to the Executive Officer of the Mendocino County Local Agency Formation 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Commission for certification and filing with the State of California. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1987, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers Schneiter, Shoemaker, and Mayor Henderson NOES: None ABSENT: CouncJ]members Hickey amd KJer ATTEST: // / - 2 - 3AIWO ~ ' O00flAND09 H±WON EXHIBIT B CITY OF UKIAH NORTH BUSH STREET REORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION Beginning at a point in the existing City Boundary as established by Las Casas Annexation No. 80-3, as recorded December 16, 1980, in Official Records of Mendocino County, Book 1286, Page 187, said point being also a point on the Westerly line of North Bush Street; thence along said Westerly line, N 1° 30' 29" W 79.16 feet to its intersection with the Westerly extension of the Northerly line of Lot 7, of Vineyard View Estates Subdivision Unit 2 - Phase 2, Tract 201, as shown on a map recorded June 19, 1981, in Map Case 2, Drawer 38, Page 16, Mendocino County Records; thence along said Westerly extension .and said Northerly line, N 88° 29' 31" E 218.87 feet to the Northeasterly corner of said Lot; thence along the Easterly line of said Lot, S 2° 18' 09" E 83.25 feet to the Southeasterly corner of said Lot, said corner being also a point on the existing City. Boundary as established by Empire Gardens Addition, as recorded November 6, 1952, in Map Case 1, Drawer 9, Page 112, Mendocino County Records; thence along the existing City Boundary, S 89° 33' 18" W 22.06 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.41 acres more or less.
