HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-22 6 ? 9 10 11 12 15 15 16 17 19 2O 9.1 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 92-22 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH APPROVING THE PLAN OF THE MENDOCINO COUNTY ABANDONED VEHICLE ABATEMENT SERVICE AUTHORITY WHEREAS, Subparagraph (1) of Subdivision (d) of Section 22710 of the California Vehicle Code requires the approval by the County and a majority of the cities having a majority of the incorporated population of a Service Authorities Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Plan in order to implement a program; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Ukiah finds that an organized program and plan for the abatement, removal, and disposal of abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, and inoperative vehicles is needed to protect the health and safety of its citizens. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1. The Mendocino County Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Plan as developed by the Service Authority is approved for implementation of the program, pursuant to Section 22710 of the California Vehicle Code, attached as Exhibit A. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1991, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers McMichael, Wattenburger, Shoemaker, Schneiter, and Mayor Henderson. NOES: None. ABSENT: None.
