RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO
THE DEMOLITION PERMIT REVIEW COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the vacancies for City Boards and Commissions are noticed annually in the Ukiah Daily
Journal; and were last noticed on July 10, 2015, and were last posted on December 22, 2015, on the
city website, in the glass cabinet in front of the Civic Center, in the Ukiah County Library, in the Public
View Binder, and in the City Clerk's office, with no other open applications having been received; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacant positions on the Demolition Permit Review Committee; and
WHEREAS, Paul William Poulos requests appointment to the Demolition Review Committee as a
Representative of the Mendocino County Historical Society or other group /organization involved with
local history, or a local historian who may reside outside the city limits but within Mendocino County
position; and
WHEREAS, Robert Estok Menton requests appointment to the Demolition Review Committee as a
City of Ukiah Resident with expertise in architecture, building, or closely related field, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk's office has received written notifications from Councilmember Crane
nominating Paul William Poulos and from Mayor Scalmanin nominating Estok Robert Menton.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ukiah City Council approves the nominations,
submitted per procedures outlined in Resolution 2014 -48 and do hereby appoint the following persons
and terms:
