Special Meeting of January 22, 1999 RIGHT TO APPEAL DECISION Persons who are dissatisfied with a decision of the City Council may have the dght to a review of that decision by a court. The City has adopted Section 1094.6 of the California Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits to ninety days (90) the time within which the decision of the City Boards and Agencies may be judicially challenged. Read 6. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items listed are considered routine and will be enacted by a single motion and roll call vote by the City Council. Items may be removed from the Consent Calendar upon request of a Councilmember or a citizen in which event the item will be considered at the completion of all other items on the agenda. The motion by the City Council on the Consent Calendar will approve and make findings in accordance with Administrative Staff and/or Planning Commission recommendations. M/RC Approving Items a-d (4-0 Vote) a. Rejection of Claim for Damages Received From Norma Noble, and Referral to Joint Powers Authority, Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund b. Award of Bid For Supply and Construction of Two Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings to Rainbow Construction in the Amount of $66,000 c. Award of Contract for Construction of Fire Department Training Tower, FD 98-1, To Crane of Ukiah, Inc., in the Amount of $37,880 d. Approval of Agreement With Ornbaum Enterprises For Appraisal of a Portion of Assessor's Parcel No. 001-020-09, Ukiah Players Theater Read 7.AUDIENCE COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS The City Coun(31 welcomes input from the audience. In order for everyone to be heard, please limit your comments to three (3) minutes per person and not more than ten (10) minutes per subject. The Brown Act regulations do not allow action to be taken on audience comments in which the subject is not listed on the agenda. Procurement of Independent Auditor Services Beginning With Fiscal Year 1998/99 and Subsequent Years M/RC Extending the audit services contract with Davis Hammon & Co. for fiscal year 1998199 and the four subsequent years (4-0 Vote) b. Consideration of Reimbursement of Expenses for Commissioners Discussion - Matter referred to Staff for further research and analysis Planning c. Discussion Regarding Amending City of Ukiah Purchasing Policy Discussion - Matter referred to Staff for further research and analysis d. Approval of 1997 Annual Report To The California Integrated Waste Management Board (ClWMB) on Progress In Reducing Solid Waste Motion/RC approving the 1997 Annual Report to the CIWMB on Progress in Reducin_n Solid Waste and request MSWMA to forward the report to the ClWMB {4-0 Vote) 9.
