AUTHORIZATION Upon execution of this amendment, service provider is authorized to provide the service described under the Scope of Additional Work identified in this Amendment No. 7. SCOPE OF ADDITIONAL WORK Work authorized by this amendment shall include that work described in the November 25, 2013 GHD letter proposal for Supplemental Services, Redwood Business Park Transportation Improvements Project. A copy of said letter is included in this seventh amendment labeled as Attachment "A ". COMPENSATION Compensation for the performance of the additional work shall be made on a time and expense basis at Consultant's customary fees. This scope of work,fees and assumptions for the supplemental tasks is described below for your consideration and approval. Once approved, it is our understanding that the supplemental tasks will be appended as an amendment to the original contract scope of work with the City for this project. The summary of the proposed Supplemental Services(project scoping)and fee follow. Scope of Work Summary Task 1 Stake Area for Right-of-Way Acquisition 1,955 Task 2 Complete Redwood Business Park Designs 17,060 Task 3 Bid Phase Services 2,864 Total 21,879 Task 1 — Stake Area for Right-of-Way Acquisition. This task includes staking the proposed area to be acquired on Hastings Avenue as shown on the attached legal description and map(Attachment A). Staking services will be provided by our subconsultant Rau and Associates. Task 1 Fee:$1.955 Task 2 — Complete Redwood Business Park Designs. The City would like to revise the design of the roadway widening, sidewalk, northeast and southeast curb returns, and traffic signals at the intersection of Hastings Avenue/South State Street.There is also some additional effort needed to complete electrical designs for street safety lighting and modifications to existing electrical facilities at the south end of Airport Park Boulevard as part of the frontage improvements to the Costco site. These additional elements are summarizes as follows including the estimated additional effort: 1. Prepare a preliminary layout of the Hasting's Avenue widening element revising the layout of the roadway widening, to the south instead of to the north. Provide the preliminary layout to the City for review. Work on Sundays will be charged at 2.0 times the hourly billing rate and holiday work will be charged at 2.5 times the houriy billing rate.
