Each Planning Commissioner must visit the site of any project on the agenda requiring a quasi-
judicial action, and failure to accompiish this task shall constitute grounds for recusal.

The Planning Commission welcomes inputfrom the audience. In order for everyone to be heard ,
please Jimit your comments to three (3) minutes per person and not more than ten (10) minutes
per subject. The Brown Acfiregulations do not allow action to be taken on audience comments.
7. APPEAL PROCESS
All determinations of the Pianning Commission regarding major discretionary planning permits,
shali be final unless a written appeal, stating the reasons for the appeal, isfiled with the Gity Cletk
within ten (10) days of the date the decisiorr was made: An interested parly may appeai only if he
orshe appeared and stated his or her position during the hearing on the decision from which the
appeal is #aken . The last date to appeai a decision made at thismeeting 'is Monday, October 10,
2005.

A. Major Use Permit No. 05-38, as submitted by Baird Engineering and Redwood Empire
Lodging , to construct and operate a mixed-use development on a 3-acre lot in the Airport
Industrial ParkPlanned Development area designated for light manufacturing/mixed-use: The
western portion of#he site wouid be developed with a two-story hotel containing 61 rooms and
the eastern portion would be developed with a one-story building for retail sales and foad
services and a one-story building for retail sales and a coffee-serving business that includes a
drive-thru lane, with jointparking facilities constructed between the buildings. The project site
is located at 1210 Airport Park Boulevard (APN 180-080-16) ; on the southwest corner of'the
intersection of Airport Park Boulevard and Commetce Drive. ,
