4. SITE VISIT VERIFICATION
Each Planning Commissioner must visit the site of any project on the agenda requiring a quasi-judicial
action, and failure to accomplish this task shall constitute grounds for recusal.
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes from the 4/22/2009 meeting are included for review and approval. Minutes from the
5/13/2009 Planning Commission meeting will be available for review and approval at the next regularly
scheduled Planning Commission meeting.
6. COMMENTS FROM AUDIENCE ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
The Planning Commission welcomes input from the audience. In order for everyone to be heard,
please limit your comments to three (3) minutes per person and not more than ten (10) minutes per
subject. The Brown Act regulations do not allow action to be taken on audience comments.
7. APPEAL PROCESS
All determinations of the Planning Commission regarding major discretionary planning permits are final
unless a written appeal, stating the reasons for the appeal, is filed with the City Clerk within ten (10)
days of the date the decision was made. An interested party may appeal only if he or she appeared
and stated his or her position during the hearing on the decision from which the appeal is taken. For
matters heard at this meeting, the City Clerk will accept appeals no later than 5:00 PM on June 22,
2009.

A. Use Permit 09-27-UP-PC, Westside Renaissance Market Sign at 1003 West Clay
Street, APN 001-252-26. Request for approval of a Use Permit to allow the continuation of
a non-conforming sign in the Single Family Residential (R1) zoning district.
6. Site Development Permit 09-22-SDP-PC, Friedman's Home Improvement Addition
at 1255 Airport Park Boulevard, APN 180-080-44. Request for approval of a Site
Development Permit to allow the enclosure of 433 square feet to create ofFice and training
space.

C. Use Permit 09-19-UP-PC, T-Mobile Wireless Telecommunications Facility at 280
North Pine Street, APN 002-214-07. Request for approval of a Use Permit at allow the
installation and operation of a wireless communications facility.
