RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ADOPTING ADDENDUM TO
EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS WITH THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CITY MANAGER
AND APPROVING OVERALL PERCENTAGE REDUCTION REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL
FOR THE CITY MANAGER'S CONTRACT WITH COMMENSURATE PAY RESTORATION
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Safety each are employed by the City
of Ukiah under individual employment contracts; and
WHEREAS, the employees provide significant executive management to the organization and
therefore, are aware of and working within the constraints of the current financial conditions facing the
City of Ukiah; and
WHEREAS, each of said employees is willing to paitic;ipate in an ongoing 5% reduction of pay
that is being requested of all City of Ukiah bargaining units; and
WHEREAS, a staff report Item 13e dated September 18, 2013, shall serve as the Addendum
to the Director of Public 5afety and City Manager's contract; and
WHEREAS, the staff report Item 13e dated September 18, 2013, shall serve as the Overall
Percentage Reduction Report to the City Council required in the City Manager's Contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Addendum to the employment contract of
the City Manager and the Director of Public Safety is hereby adopted.
