PROJECT TITLE: Ukiah Airport Storm Drain System Repair and Reconstruction - Phase 1
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The project involves lining existing pipes to extend their life and mitigate
failures; rehabilitate and reconstruct rip-raps and headwalls to mitigate erosion; conduct spot repairs and
grouting on existing pipes; and slurry fill existing/non-functional pipes. The project does not involve
constructing a new storm drain system, nor does it increase the size of the system.
LOCATION: Ukiah Regional Airport - South State Street, Ukiah, Mendocino County.
PUBLIC AGENCY APPROVING PROJECT: The Ukiah City Council approved the project on July 1, 2009.

PROJECT TITLE: Ukiah Airport Storm Drain System Repair and Reconstruction - Phase 1
LOCATION: Ukiah Regional Airport - South State Street, Ukiah, Mendocino County
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project involves lining existing pipes to extend their life and mitigate

PROJECT APPROVAL: The Ukiah City Council approved the project on July 1, 2009.
FINDINGS OF EXEMPTION:
The proposed project is consistent with the goals and policies of the Ukiah General Plan.
2. The proposed project would not have an adverse impact on fish and wildlife resources
because no creeks or streams would be impacted by the project.
3. The existing airport storm drain system is merely being replaced. It can be determined with
certainty that the project would not affect any natural wildlife habitat values.
LEAD AGENCY: City of Ukiah
CERTIFICATION: I hereby certify that the public agency has made the above findings and the project will
not individually or cumulatively have an adverse effect on wildlife resources, as defined in Section 711.2 of
the Fish and Game Code.
