ROLL CALL Ukiah City Council met at a Special Joint Closed Session Meeting of the Ukiah City Council and Ukiah Redevelopment Agency on August 25, 2010, the notice for which having been legally noticed on August 24, 2010. Prior to going into closed session, Mayor Thomas called the meeting to order at 4:45 pm. Roll was taken with the following Councilmembers present: Landis, Crane, Rodin, Baldwin, and Mayor Thomas. Councilmembers absent: None. Staff present: City Manager Chambers, Assistant City Manager Sangiacomo, City Attorney Rapport, Director of Planning and Community Development Stump, Project and Grant Administrator Mills, and City Clerk Currie (present for roll call only). 2. PUBLIC COMMENT During the portion of the session open to the public, John Mayfield objected to the closed session based on his opinion that the meeting notice was misleading and/or incomplete. 3. CLOSED SESSION a. Conference with Real Property Negotiators (§54956.8) Property: APN 002-232-12, 13 and 002-282-18 and 19 APN 002-232-09, 10, 11 City/Agency Negotiator: Jane Chambers, City Manager/Executive Director Negotiating Parties: Ukiah Redevelopment Agency, City of Ukiah, North Coast Railroad Authority, Weston Solutions Inc, and Administrative Office of the Courts Under Negotiation: Price and Terms b. Conference with Real Property Negotiators (§54956.8) Property: APN 002-192-01, 02, 03, 11, 14 and 18 City/Agency Negotiator: Jane Chambers, City Manager/Executive Director Negotiating Parties: Ukiah Redevelopment Agency, City of Ukiah, and Administrative Office of the Courts Under Negotiation: Price and Terms Reportable Action: The City/Agency Negotiator (City Manager/Executive Director Chambers) was instructed regarding real property negotiations for the Ukiah Courthouse Project with the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) regarding (1) properties identified as City/Agency owned properties located between East Smith Street and East Perkins Street identified by APN 002-192-01, 02, 03, 11, 14 and 18, and (2) City owned/optioned property known as the Old Railroad Facility on Perkins specifically identified as APN 002-232-12, 13 and 002-282-18,19 and APN 002-232-09, 10, 11. 4.
