ADJOURNMENT AGENDA ITEM NO: o~ MEETING DATE: February 2, 2005 SUMMARY REPORT SUBJECT: UPDATE ON THE VALUE ENGINEERING REVIEW OF THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT DESIGN Summary: During the week of August 30th a Value Engineering (VE) Review commenced on the engineering details and design of the proposed Wastewater Treatment Plant. The VE Team was led by a certified Value Engineering Consultant with engineering experts in all phases of waste water treatment plant design, construction, contracting, and project management. The VE Team met for a full week and focused on Brown and Caldwell's proposed design for the City of Ukiah and specifically reviewed all aspects of the plant operational needs. A presentation by the VE consultant and VE Team leader on the overall findings will be presented for update and discussion.
