INDEMNITY AN, D LI II, Y 7.1 The ustomer- enerator shall protect and defend the City against any laim for m oney made against the City, if the claim is based on any ct: or omiss on of the Customer-Generator in performing and this Agre tnent, regardless of whether the act or omission invo es alleged negligent or intentionally wrongful conduct, or if th claim resu s from the engineering, design, construction, mai eriance, re ir, improvement, replacement, operation, sups ision, test g or ownership of the Customer-Generator's facil y.' This obligation applies to the acts or omissions of the Cust mer-Gener tor's officers, agents, employees, contractors, and volu eers. B General This Appe dix sets fo t'h the requirements and conditions for interconne ted non-uti~ ity owned, solar-electric generation where such generation ay be co : ected for parallel operation with service of the Utility. Fo purpose o his Appendix, the interconnecting entity shall be designated ustomer- enerator. Design R irements 1. Cus omer-Gen ator shall conform to applicable National Electric Co (NEC) St ` dards (NEC 690) and applicable building codes. 2. Cus oer-Gene ator shall have a dedicated circuit from the inv er to servi e panel with a circuit breaker or fuse (NEC 690- 64(3)(l)). 3. Cus suer-Gene ator's over-current device at the service panel shal be marked to indicate photovoltaic power source (NEC 690- 64(q)(4)). 4. a. b. C. d.
