ORDINANCE N0. 749
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UKIAH AMENDING SECTION 7154(b) OF THE UKIAH
MUNICIPAL CODE (RELATING TO PARKING TRUCKS ON CITY
STREETS)
The City Council of the City of Ukiah does ordain as follows:
Section 1.
Section 7154(b) of the Ukiah Municipal Code is hereby amended to read
as follows:
(b) Under the following conditions a vehicle, as defined
in the California State Vehicle Code, shall not be parked on
city streets. Conditions: 1) If the vehicle exceeds an unladen
weight of 7500 pounds. 2) The time of day is between the hours
of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. This provision does not apply to
recreational vehicles. A recreational vehicle is defined as a
motor home or similar device and a truck and camper combination
with motive power designed for human habitation for
recreational or emergency occupancy, with a living area less
than 220 square feet, excluding built in equipment such as
wardrobes, closets, cabinets, kitchen units or fixtures, bath and
toilet rooms.
This provision does not apply to such vehicle parking
upon streets within areas zoned by the City as commercial or
industrial.

vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Riley, Feibusch, Snyder, Myers, Hickey
