ORDINANCE NO. 722
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UKIAH PRE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY (ORCHARD
AVENUE SOUTH _ _
WHEREAS, the City of UY.iah has filed Pre-zone Change Applica-
tion No. 79-40, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Government Code Section 65859
the City has the authority to pre-zone property which is subject
to possible annexation, and
WHEREAS, the proposed prezone is consistent with the City of
General Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. That property commonly designated as, Lot 19, Page 10,
Book 3; Lots 6,7,8,10,12,14,16 and 13, Page 58, Book 3; and Lot 10,
11,13,14,15,16, Page 3, Book 180 in the records of the Mendocino
County Assessor, is prezoned as PD, Planned Development, said area
containing approximately 30 acres; all as shown and described in
Exhibit A and attached hereto and made a part hereof. This prezon-
ing classification shall become effective at such time as the property
so prezoned is annexed to the City of Ukiah. The zoning map adopted
by Section 9006, as amended by previous zone changes, shall be amended
at that time as well.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as required by law in a
newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ukiah.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation
of the subject property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1978 by the follow-
ing roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Hickey, Myers, Simpson, Mayor Brannon
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilwoman Snyder
